Camp Lawrence & Camp Nokomis Information 2022

We have been busy getting ready for the camp season and we are so excited to see the smiling faces of our campers on the island this summer! We will continue to update this page and email camp families with information as it becomes available.

A Healthy Camp Begins at Home

A healthy camp really does start at home. The healthier each camper is coming camp, the healthier the camp community will be. Here are some things you can do to help your child have a great camp experience. A Healthy Camp Begins at Home

Transportation between the airport and camp must be arranged through a local airport shuttle service.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

We strongly recommend campers are vaccinated and boosted (if eligible) for the COVID-19 vaccine. Please upload your child’s COVID-19 vaccination card on your account with the most up-to-date information at least two weeks prior to arrival.

COVID-19 Testing

Testing will be a tool used to monitor the health of the camp community. Details will be announced as summer approaches.

COVID-19 Cases at Camp

A camper who tests positive for COVID-19 will be isolated and must be picked up within 12 hours. Unvaccinated campers that have had close contact with a person that tests positive will also be isolated and must be picked up within 12 hours. Campers who are up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations that have had close contact with a person that tests positive are not required to quarantine, therefore they can stay at camp if they remain without symptoms. No refunds will be issued for campers that are sent home due to COVID-19.

Stay Over Between Sessions

Campers registered for consecutive sessions are allowed to stay over between sessions 1 & 2 and sessions 3 & 4. There will be special activities and meals during this time. Campers may leave between sessions, departing on Saturday and arriving on Sunday with their unit group. If you are choosing this option, please contact the Camp Lawrence office at 603-279-6488 or Camp Nokomis office at 603-279-4918 during the camp season. We are requiring all campers to go off overnight between the first month and the second month (sessions 2 & 3), departing on Saturday and arriving on Sunday with their unit group.

Activity Selections

Activity selections will be emailed in June. If you have not done so already, we suggest to take this time to review the activity choices with your child available on our website at Camp Lawrence Activities or Camp Nokomis Activities. Each camper may choose four activities in order of preference.
