Camp Nokomis and Camp Lawrence thrive on the legacy and support of their alumni, who play a vital role in shaping the camp’s identity and ensuring its continued success. Alumni bring with them a wealth of experience, memories, and a deep connection to the values instilled by the camp. Their ongoing involvement through volunteering, mentorship, and financial support not only helps sustain the camp but also enriches the experience for current campers. Alumni serve as ambassadors, spreading the word about the positive impact of the camp in their lives, thus attracting new generations of campers and supporters. Their enduring dedication embodies the spirit of community and fosters a sense of belonging that is at the heart of the YMCA camp experience.

All alumni, friends and supporters of Camp Lawrence and Camp Nokomis are welcome to attend Alumni Day. Bring your family, see old friends, relive some of your favorite camp experiences, and honor this year’s Hall of Fame inductees. We are also excited to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Camp Nokomis!
Upon arrival at Camp, alumni will have free time to tour the property, swim and relax. If you are planning to visit both camps, please start at Camp Lawrence. There will be no special boat runs or alterations to the boat schedule.
RSVP is required! Stay tuned for an RSVP form, coming soon.
Please note, attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian.

Overview
Members of our Hall of Fame have gone above and beyond to support our camps and ensure the mission of our camps continues to serve future generations. The following is the criteria by which Hall of Fame members are selected:
A candidate for the Camp Lawrence, Camp Nokomis or Camp Otter Hall of Fame is a person, group or organization that has made a significant contribution to the Merrimack Valley YMCA camps. These contributions can include, but are not limited to, exemplary ongoing volunteer service, notable gifts of products, services or money, or public promotion of the camps.
Inductees are nominated by a member of the alumni community or camping staff and voted on by the current members of the Camping Branch’s Alumni Committee. Nominees receiving 60% of the votes from members of the Committee will be proposed to the Board of Managers for induction into the Hall of Fame.
