Camp Tour Dates

Camp Lawrence and Camp Nokomis (Reservations required)

Sunday, May 30, 2021: Boat departure at 10:00am and 2:00pm (choose one of these times)
Saturday, June 5, 2021: Boat departure at 10:00am and 2:00pm (choose one of these times)
Sunday, June 6, 2021: Boat departure at 11:00am

Camp Lawrence and Camp Nokomis are both located on Bear Island in Meredith, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee.  Due to this unique location, the only way to get to the camps is by boat. In order for us to safely accommodate all of those who wish to attend a camp tour, we ask for you to please make a reservation.  To make a reservation you may call 978-975-1330 (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) or email us at campinfo@mvymca.org to RSVP. All tours last approximately 3.5 hours (including the boat rides to and from).  You may choose to visit just one of the camps, or both camps; visiting both camps will not change the duration of the tour. Tours leave from the Y-Landing Marina, 102 Powers Road, Meredith, NH 03253.

Camp Otter and Road Rangers

Thursday, May 13, 2021: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesday, May 19, 2021: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Sunday, May 23, 2021: 9:00am-11:00am

Reservations do not have to be made for the Camp Otter & Road Rangers camp tours. You may stop by at any time within the indicated time frame.  Tours take place at Camp Otter, which is located on 66 Hooker Farm Road, Salem, NH 03079.

CORE 4

Youth Leadership Summit
Dates: TBD

The CORE 4 Youth Leadership Summit is a collaboration between the Merrimack Valley YMCA, North Andover Youth and Recreation Services, Andover Youth Services and the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club. During this three-day program, young leaders from different communities come together to participate in team-building activities, attend workshops, listen to guest speakers and discuss the issues that are important to them. This event takes place at Camp Nokomis on Lake Winnipesaukee each June.

All alumni, friends and supporters of Camp Lawrence, Camp Nokomis and Camp Otter are welcome to attend our annual events. Bring your family, see old friends, celebrate the experience of camping and honor this year’s Hall of Fame inductees.

Women’s Wellness Weekend

Relax, Renew, Rejuvenate, Restore 

Join us August 27 – 29, 2021 for Women’s Wellness Weekend on Lake Winnipesaukee
Friday 10:00am to Sunday 10:00am

The first boat will be leaving the dock at 10:00am. For those travelers, there will be a refreshing lunch served. A 2:00pm boat is also scheduled.

Enjoy laughter, friendship, fun and relaxation during this weekend of women enjoying the company of other women. Merrimack Valley YMCA Camp Nokomis rests amidst 50 acres on Lake Winnipesaukee, Bear Island in New Hampshire and is accessible only by boat. The exceptional facilities include tennis courts, basketball courts, athletic fields, yoga studio, sandy beaches, volleyball and nature trails.

Immerse yourself in activities to replenish the mind, body and spirit. Past activities range from:
